SF City Hall WeddingsElegant live music for one of San Francisco’s most iconic venues
Planning your San Francisco City Hall ceremony?
We love being part of those short, emotional moments under the rotunda:
The ones that feel small in scale but huge in meaning.
Our string duo (violin + cello) brings warmth, depth, and just the right amount of drama to your walk down the aisle. Whether you want something timeless like Canon in D or something modern and personal, we’ll make it sound beautiful live.
How It Works
We believe planning your City Hall wedding should feel effortless. Our packages are designed to keep things simple, allowing you to focus on what matters most: your wedding day. While our string duo is our most popular choice, we also offer solo violin or solo cello for couples seeking a more intimate musical experience. For the rich, balanced sound that beautifully complements the acoustics of the City Hall rotunda, we recommend our violin and cello duo.
Violin and cello duo (or solo violin or solo cello upon request)
Live music for your ceremony, including prelude, processional, recessional, and optional music during photos afterward
Choose your songs from our repertoire, or you can request up to three songs for us to learn and arrange for your ceremony.
*We are an SF City Hall approved musician group and carry the necessary insurance for the venue.
Ceremony Music Flow
Every ceremony is different, but here’s how music usually fits into your day at city hall:
Prelude: guests arrive (5-10 minutes of soft background music)
Processional: wedding party and partner entrances (usually 1–2 songs)
Vows + ceremony: short and sweet (no music during this part)
Recessional: your walk out together, upbeat, joyful, and celebratory
Postlude (optional): a few extra songs while guests exit or before your first photos
We’ll help you time each part so your ceremony flows naturally, and the music feels seamless.
